FAQs
Why do I need a Personal Trainer?
A personal trainer will ensure that you get maximum results in minimum time with a personalised programme that is specific to your requirements.
How often should I see my Personal Trainer?
Most clients see their trainer at least once each week, sometimes twice. This provides you with regular motivation and inspiration and prevents you missing sessions.
Can I afford a Personal Trainer?
Can you afford not to hire a personal trainer? So many people join a gym, paying a year’s membership with the best intentions, only to fall by the wayside due to lack of motivation wasting their time and their money. It is a fact that hiring a personal trainer produces consistently better results.
Can my Trainer really help me lose weight?
Weight loss is one of the biggest motivating factors when hiring a personal trainer. Ted will ask you to fill in a food diary and then offer advice and guidance. He will also weigh and measure you on a regular basis. Ted will offer to inspect your fridge and food cupboards and even accompany you on your food shopping to teach you healthy choices if required.
Do I need to invest in expensive equipment?
Ted will work around whatever is available. Some clients have no equipment but can still have a very productive and enjoyable workout incorporating body weight exercises. Ted does carry a range of kit with him and is happy to advise on purchasing appropriate equipment should you so wish.
Can I train with an injury/illness?
Ted has many years of experience dealing with injury/illness. During the initial consultation you will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire. If there are any areas of concern regarding illness or injury Ted will ask you to discuss this in depth and offer appropriate advice.
How do I exercise when Ted is not there?
Ted will not only teach you to exercise correctly, but will write you out your own personalised plan with clear and specific instructions on frequency, duration, intensity etc. |
